SACI Innovations has maintained its outstanding track record in production of high quality Organic Oyster Mushrooms in Uganda. Currently, we are renovating our original Mushroom growing and Laboratory room to produce over 2tons of fresh Mushrooms per week harvest.
SACI ventured into Solar dryer fabrication as a solution to fine quality dried mushrooms as they are the gateway for Mushroom value addition to take place. We are encouraging our outgrowers and all farmers in Uganda to avail themselves with dryers and revolve from direct sun drying
SACI encourages Tree planting by every outgrower around their mushroom houses; Backyard/ urban gardening; Organic manure production for waste management and Briquettes production.
This serves as a sustainable and inclusive way to address urban challenges, promoting local food security, environmental stewardship, community building, and a healthier, greener urban environment

We do process products from dry powdered mushroom for food security and enrich the lives of people. These include; Highly organic with no preservatives, Nutirblend for porridge for children & elderly ailing people to boost their immune system, Organic manure- a garden fertilizer, Briquettes- the best cooking alternative to charcoal and firewood.
Through CSR, SACI partners with health care providers to improve access to equal health services for growing communities through mobile health clinics, training community health workers, providing health education and awareness
SACI trains competent based skills to the unemployed youths, AGYW and women that align with its objectives. These are; solar dryer fabrication, mushroom production, Spawn production, Agri-business, backyard farming, irrigation and water and waste management.
All trainees obtain assessment certificates of DIT- workers PAS. Today given the merging of DIT & UBTEB, SACI is undergoing registration with Uganda Vocational & Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB)

At SACI Innovations Customers are an ASSET. For better service delivery to our Customers in 2023, we developed a department that caters for all our suppliers and outgrowers' needs where members agreed in 2024 to form an Association that brings together mushroom producers dedicated to ensuring the production and supply of high-quality, safe mushroom to better accomplish tasks for development.
